Santander

Good place for banking not too busy

Considering the size of the branch, the quietness is rather surprising. With self service machines near the entrance and advisors standing by if any questions are required, a customer never has to queue long.

Building Societies

Nationwide

Equally they can be entirely useless depending on the chair. If they have networking events associated with them definitely go, and keep going, if you have a business that need local support. Dental Surgeries

St Cuthberts Dental Surgery

5 Newburgh St, Winchester SO23 8UY, UK – 01962 852806

I have been going here for over a year and a half since moving to Winchester. You get the sense that the staff really care about their patients and Jonathan Krum always welcomes you with a big smile. Check up appointments are swift but never rushed and Jonathan always takes time to explain what he's doing with an update afterwards and an opportunity to ask any questions - it all helps create a very positive experience. I feel I made a good choice and I can't rate this practice highly enough.

Very friendly, professional and caring team.

Marlfield House

St James' Ln, Winchester SO22 4NY, UK – 01962 855151

Great place to work

What a lovely setting we found to relocate our NHS and private St Paul's Dental Practice to. Marlfield House is a listed building with many original features and surgery views over the South Downs. Bright and spacious and certainly a leap from previous practices around the country I have worked at in the last 12 years. What a pleasure to see patients from all walks of life in such a lovely environment.

Iosis Dental & Implant Clinic (Winchester)

Anglo St James House, 39A Southgate St, Winchester SO23 9EH, UK – 01962 670501

Just back from another trip to IOSIS after seeing the amazing Dr Jinal Patel. She's just prepared a tooth for a crown fitting in a few days time. Considering I've just had injections and a lot of tooth drilled away to fit the crown, at no point did I feel even the slightest discomfort. Very professional with attention to detail and highly recommended. Thank you!

Lovely service, helpful staff getting pushchair on and off lorry/bus. Staff friendly, truck clean, good section of books for children.

St Pauls Medical Practice

Alison Way, Winchester SO22 5DD, UK – 01962 853599

It's Super if you get the right GP. If you don't ask to change and don't let them tell you that you can not.

Excellent problem resolution from Philip Heiden the Practice manager and Andrea Tubby the reception manager. I just wish I had made contact with them sooner rather than later. Many Thanks

Dr N J Wright - The Friarsgate Practice

United Kingdom, Winchester, 스톡브리지 로드 – 0844 477 0947

Just don't expect to easily get an appointment in the same week. Last two times I have had to wait near on a fortnight to see anyone.

The Walcote Practice

Southgate Chambers, 37-39 Southgate St, Winchester SO23 9EH, UK – 01962 828715

I recently had a cyst removed from my scalp by Dr Nicholas Hillier, when the waiting list for having it done on the NHS was just too long. From start to finish, the care was exemplary. I was seen and treated the same week, the receptionist was wonderfully patient and accommodating when I was trying to fix an appointment. Dr Hillier took endless care to ensure I didn't end up with a bald patch on my scalp, and was immensely reassuring. I would wholeheartedly recommend this practice to anyone.

I am exceptionally impressed with Nick as a doctor and the quality of care provided. I went with a large lipoma on the side of my head, Nick was very clear and reassuring throughout the procedure. It has healed quickly and I fully expect the scar to disappear pretty much all together. I couldn't recommend the Walcote Practice highly enough

NHS Direct is now NHS 24. Just dial 111 to speak to a professional or click the link below for there self help website. Lots of really useful info but keep clear of heart surgery! If in doubt ask your GP or call 111. Good luck.

Royal Hampshire County Hospital

Romsey Rd, Winchester SO22 5DG, UK – 01962 863535

I have had 2 trips to A&E with my daughter in the past 2 weeks and the nursing staff have been amazing both times. They are so patient, put my child at ease and have been so kind. We have had a speedy and efficient process through A&E and do not have any complaints about the service at all. Thank you so much! Keep up the great work!

I was under the care of Winchester Hospital's, Acute Care Unit, where I spent 48 hours in isolation, before moving on to the ward. From there I went to Clarke Ward, for a further 9 days, before moving to my final ward...Recovery. My treatments were first rate and the care, compassion and general commitment to my wellbeing...from EVERY member of staff...throughout my stay was astonishing. Our NHS is woefully underfunded and successive governments have done nothing to stem the flood of lost investment in it. But the cleaners, the auxiliary, the nurses, the staff nurses, the physiotherapists, the OT teams, the doctors and consultants are all working tirelessly to keep the service running. And I for one am truly grateful for their tireless dedication and work ethic. I am adding this update on 02/03/2017. Our wonderful NHS is drowning in management's mishandling. While nurses are struggling, upper management can be seen parking their top of the range, luxury motors!!! Our TV screens are full of advertising for our money. Donate £3.00pm for fresh water. Donate £3.00pm for warm blankets. Donate £5.00pm for donkeys!!! The list is endless and relentless. The NHS should be allowed to appeal for our money...and I for one would be VERY happy to donate...say £5.00pm or even £10.00...but if we all donated something, whatever we could afford, our NHS could be saved? But let's lose the wasteful and unnecessary upper management...I witnessed one, driving a £45000 high end European car...paid for from wages by the NHS...OUR NHS.

BMI Sarum Road Hospital

Sarum Rd, Winchester SO22 5HA, UK – 01962 844555

Amazing hospital, staff are all attentive, professional and caring. Thank you all for looking after me so well.

This is the BEST healthcare experience in UK. Ever. Had a small surgery done at this hospital. Nurses, doctors were absolutely brilliant. They made me comfortable on the day of the surgery. All the facilites are very neat and clean. Post-surgery follow up was fantastic too. They care about people. Many thanks to Gill, Sue, Mr. Goldsmith, Dr. Tim Moore. Brilliant experience.

Find Recycling Centres

Hopkins Recycling Centre

Bar End Rd, Winchester SO23 9NP, UK – 01962 868523

In my experience, the staff are always willing to help and the different areas are clearly marked.

It's well built and designed, but there are some dodgy dealings that go on, they sift through and sell items that have been dumped, no where else in the employment of the council can you do this, why here? It's not retail, or is it? Do they pay tax on the monies from the sale of goods? Not sure this is very legal, or safe, charity shops cannot sell goods like this, why here? I've had people from the dump grab stuff off me for this purpose, not really acceptable.

Emmaus Hampshire

Emmaus Community, Bar End Rd, Winchester SO23 9BN, UK – 01962 868300

Baxter Confidential

Cipher House, Moorside Rd, Winchester SO23, UK – 01962 855538

Great experiance. Nothing was too much trouble..good value and very secure service would recomend.

Give and get free stuff. Here you will find lots of items that people are willing to give away, for FREE! This is instead of taking them to a local landfill site. The aim of this site is to reduce the amount of waste that goes to landfill (20.9 million tonnes of it last year in the UK) and recycling is great news for the environment.
We all know that we need to recycle more - and this is a great way of doing it.

Friendly restaurant with good food at reasonable prices. Great location for a family or group celebration /gathering.

Wow! What an amazing restaurant! The customer service is one of the best and all the staff go above and beyond! After waiting for 40 minutes for a taxi that was meant to be on its way our curry was cold so the restaurant insisted on making a fresh one with no extra charge! It tasted divine and we all throughly enjoyed it! We will definitely be back very very soon and could not recommend this restaurant enough! Thank u Balaka! From Mr Rowlands

Western Church of England Primary School

Browning Dr, Winchester SO22 5AR, UK – 01962 852591

Caring staff who really know our children, fantastic outside space and lots of creative learning opportunities. Who could want any more for their children? A lovely school with a great educational track record of academic and personal achievement. We are delighted and very grateful that our children have all been able to attend this school.

Western is a really special school. There are newer and better equipped schools. So, what makes Western special? The sense of community, the academic achievement without undue pressure, the huge amount of outside space, the staff and, above all, the happy and confident children

The Henry Beaufort School

E Woodhay Rd, Winchester SO22 6JJ, UK – 01962 880073

Connor Wright does not honestly know what he is talking about. A great school with great results where everyone is treated equally. If you misbehave like some certain indiuals and play it off as being bullied (or rather attention seeking!) you will be put in your place. Henry Beaufort is a good school and you should send your children there; but ensure they do not get involved with the crowds affiliated with certain reviewers.

I go to this school it is a very nice school
